SHRM Conference Transfer and Cancellation Request Form

To request the cancellation or transfer of your SHRM Conference registration, complete the fields below. Our team will review your submission and reply within 2 business days. 

  • Your event's detailed conference Cancellation and Transfer Policy can be found at https://store.shrm.org/events under each event. Attendees shall abide by these policies.
  • Transfers are permitted once within the calendar year of purchase.  An attendee must request a transfer ten business days before the start of the event. 
  • Transfers within ten business days of an event cannot be accommodated. If an attendee chooses to transfer their registration to another SHRM event, they are responsible for paying any price difference (if applicable). 
  • If an SHRM member transfers their registration to a nonmember, the nonmember must pay the difference between the SHRM member and non-member price at the time of the transfer or become an SHRM member at the time of transfer.  
  • Attendees who do not attend the event and/or do not contact SHRM via written correspondence by the dates above will be responsible for the full attendee registration fee. 
  • If SHRM  cancels or postpones an event, attendees can transfer their registration to another SHRM event within the next 12 calendar months without penalty or receive a full refund if the request occurs 48 hours before the new event’s start date.

If you are submitting a request due to US Visa Denial, Illness or due to Transport Disruption, please attach the supporting documentation. Submissions without supporting documentation of the Visa Denial will not be processed.
